Service heavy vehicles according to an established preventive maintenance schedule.
Conducts routine maintenance work which includes rotating and balancing of tires, oil and oil filter changes, vehicle parts lubrication, inspection and replacement of hoses, belts, mirrors, lamps, and maintaining all required fluid levels.
Maintains vehicle functional condition by gathering operator concerns and issues; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
Sound knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and AC system of heavy vehicles.
Reads, understands and interprets mechanical drawings
Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction
Attends Group Safety Meeting, Tool Box meetings and be familiar with HSE requirements to follow while performing all activities
